Journal of Transformative Learning and Social Innovation (JATI)

Background

The Journal of Transformative Learning and Social Innovation (JATI) was established to create a scholarly space where educational research and social change meet. It is published by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia, a university with a long tradition in education and teacher development.

JATI was founded in response to a growing need for research that goes beyond describing educational practice to explain how learning can generate new ideas, practices, relationships, institutions, and collaborative solutions. By focusing on the intersection of transformative learning and social innovation, JATI seeks to connect educational scholarship with meaningful change in communities and societies across diverse cultural and geographical contexts.
