About the Journal
Journal of Transformative Learning and Social Innovation (JATI) is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on the intersection of transformative learning and social innovation. JATI examines how learning can generate new ideas, practices, relationships, institutions, and collaborative solutions capable of producing meaningful educational and societal change. The journal particularly welcomes theoretically grounded and methodologically rigorous research on transformative learning, social innovation in education, co-creation and community-engaged learning, institutional and policy transformation, the scaling and sustainability of educational innovation, and evidence of societal impact. Digital technologies, artificial intelligence, sustainability, inclusion, lifelong learning, and community empowerment are welcomed when they are explicitly examined as mechanisms, contexts, or outcomes of transformative learning and social innovation. JATI is published by Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia, and serves an international community of researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and emerging scholars.
