Focus and Scope

Jurnal Inovasi Administrasi Negara Terapan (Inovant) publishes original research articles and scholarly works in the field of public administration and the public sector, with particular emphasis on applied, empirical, policy-oriented, and governance-related studies.

The journal welcomes manuscripts that contribute to the development of public administration through theoretical, conceptual, empirical, and practical perspectives. Studies may address national, regional, local, organizational, or community-level contexts, provided that the manuscript demonstrates a clear relevance to public administration.

The scope of Inovant includes, but is not limited to:

Inovant particularly encourages manuscripts that provide clear empirical evidence, analytical depth, theoretical or conceptual contribution, policy implications, administrative innovation, or practical relevance to public administration and public-sector governance.

Manuscripts that primarily address subjects outside public administration may only be considered when they establish a clear and substantive connection to public policy, governance, public management, public services, or public-sector administration.
