About the Journal

Jurnal Inovasi Administrasi Negara Terapan (Inovant) is a peer-reviewed and open-access scientific journal published by Universitas Negeri Surabaya and managed by the Applied Bachelor Program in Public Administration, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

Established in 2023, Inovant publishes original research articles and scholarly works addressing contemporary issues in public administration and the public sector. The journal provides an academic platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, students, and policymakers to disseminate empirical research, applied studies, and evidence-based ideas relevant to public administration.

Inovant is published three times a year, in April, August, and December. The journal accepts manuscripts written in Indonesian or English. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are processed through a double-anonymized peer-review process in accordance with the journal's current editorial policy.

The journal covers major areas of public administration, including public policy, public management, governance, public services, local government, digital government, public-sector innovation, public organizations, public human resource management, community participation, collaborative governance, and social policy.
