Editorial Policies
The Indonesia Journal of Local Wisdom Education (IJLWE) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, quality, and transparency in scholarly publishing. These editorial policies outline the expectations for authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure ethical publication practices and to safeguard the credibility of academic work. We encourage all contributors to read and understand these policies prior to submission.
Affiliations
All authors must list their current institutional affiliations, including departments, faculties, and universities. If the research was conducted under a previous affiliation, this should also be acknowledged. Independent researchers should clearly state their status. Proper affiliation ensures transparency in research funding, accountability, and acknowledgment of institutional contributions.
Authorship
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. Each listed author must meet the following criteria:
- Participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for the content.
- Contributed to the drafting, revision, or approval of the manuscript.
- Approved the final version before submission.
- Agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work.
Changes in authorship (additions, deletions, or rearrangement of names) must be approved by all authors and justified in writing to the editorial office. Authorship disputes will be referred to the authors' institutions or an independent ethics body.
Peer Review Process
IJLWE employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartiality and scholarly rigor. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, significance, methodology, ethical compliance, clarity, and relevance to local wisdom and educational contexts.
