Deposition of Articles in Digital Repositories

The number of digital repositories has increased rapidly in recent years, and they are classified into three types:

• Institutional repositories
• Funder-specific repositories
• Discipline-specific repositories

Many traditional publications only allow the deposition of the Author's manuscript version of the article, not the final, 'official' version, which presents a challenge for all digital repositories. Before the research article is made public, an embargo period of 6 or 12 months may apply.

Authors are free to archive their own papers, but in many situations, this is unnecessary because BISMA (BISNIS DAN MANAJEMEN) can automatically give an open-access article feed to any repository that requests it.
