1. Preamble
The Indonesian Journal of Kinanthropology (IJOK) is committed to the principles of Open Access and the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research. This Copyright Notice outlines the terms under which articles are published in IJOK, emphasizing author copyright retention and the Creative Commons license that governs the use of published works. The aim is to protect authors' rights while ensuring their research can be freely accessed, shared, reused, and developed by the global academic community and the public.
2. Copyright Ownership
Authors who publish their articles in IJOK retain full copyright of their work.
IJOK does not require authors to transfer copyright to the journal or its publisher (Universitas Negeri Surabaya). Authors grant IJOK a non-exclusive license for the first publication of the work.
3. Publishing License and User Rights
All articles published in IJOK are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This license permits users to:
a. Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
b. Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material, including for commercial purposes
Under the following condition:
a. Attribution (BY): Users must give appropriate credit to the author(s) and IJOK as the original source of publication (including article title, author name(s), journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, year, and DOI). 4. Authors’ Rights for Reuse of Their Own Work

b. Reusing the article in books, theses, or other academic works
c. Using the article for teaching and presentations

5. Copyright of Peer Review Reports
Peer reviewers retain copyright of their review reports.
IJOK maintains a confidential peer-review process. Reviewer comments are shared anonymously with authors and are not published without explicit reviewer consent.

The views expressed in articles published in IJOK are solely those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the editorial board or Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The journal and publisher disclaim responsibility for any content published.
