Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Sports Coaching and Performance Education (JSCPE) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all manuscripts submitted to the journal. All submitted manuscripts that have passed the initial editorial screening will be checked for plagiarism and text similarity using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate.
The maximum acceptable similarity score is 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the extent and nature of the similarities identified.
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and that all sources, ideas, quotations, and previously published materials are properly acknowledged and cited. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, and other forms of academic misconduct are not tolerated by JSCPE.
If plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified during the editorial, peer-review, or post-publication process, JSCPE reserves the right to take appropriate action, including requesting revisions, rejecting the manuscript, retracting a published article, or notifying the relevant institution when necessary.
