    • Scientific merit and methodology.
    • Data quality and interpretation.
    • Relevance to biotechnology research.
    • Clarity of presentation and references.
  2. Reviewers submit their recommendations and comments to the Editor.
  3. The peer review process is conducted using a double-blind review system, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

  2. The manuscript may receive one of the following decisions:
    • Accept without revision.

  3. Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ and Editor’s comments.
  4. Revised manuscripts must be accompanied by a response letter explaining how each comment has been addressed.

Second Editorial Evaluation and Similarity Check

  1. The Editor evaluates the revised manuscript.
  2. A plagiarism/similarity check is conducted using appropriate similarity-detection software.
  3. If necessary, the manuscript may be returned to the authors for further revision or sent for an additional round of review.

Layout and Proofreading Process

  1. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading.
  2. Authors review the final layout and provide approval for publication.
  3. Final checks, including formatting consistency and publication readiness, are completed.

Final Editorial Evaluation

  1. The Editor performs a final evaluation of the publication-ready manuscript.
  2. The Editor confirms that all review comments, revisions, ethical requirements, and publication standards have been satisfactorily fulfilled.
