PERSELISIHAN HUBUNGAN INDUSTRIAL MENURUT PERSPEKTIF HUKUM KETENAGAKERJAAN DALAM KASUS UNION BUSTING

The case of alleged union busting and wage cuts at CNN Indonesia reflects serious problems in industrial relations in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the regulation of labor law in Indonesia in preventing and prosecuting union busting practices in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and analyze the effectiveness of legal protection available in the Indonesian labor system in preventing and resolving cases of alleged union busting at CNN Indonesia. The method used is qualitative prescriptive with a normative. The results of the study show that although labor law regulations have prohibited unilateral wage cuts and union busting, their implementation is still weak. The main obstacles include minimal government supervision, company pressure on workers, and slow law enforcement. As a result, affected workers find it difficult to obtain justice. Concrete steps are needed from the government and other stakeholders to strengthen worker protection mechanisms and ensure company compliance with applicable laws in order to create fairer and more sustainable industrial relations.
