Abstract

Bullying that often occurs in Indonesia is of various types, such as in children, they usually only bully verbally by teasing and in adults, they do it by teasing related to body shaming or saying words that will hurt the victim related to their physical appearance. The results of the study show that penal mediation in resolving criminal cases of bullying in children in Indonesia has great potential to provide a fairer and more humane solution. The implementation of penal mediation in cases of bullying in children in Indonesia based on the SPPA Law provides a fairer and more educational alternative solution compared to conventional legal processes
