Announcement for JSES Volume 8 Issue 2 (September Edition)
Dear Authors and Prospective Contributors,
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance quality and advance internationalization, JSES will continue to accept only articles written in English, starting from Volume 8 Issue 2 (September Edition). This policy has existed since Volume 6 Issue 2 (September 2023).
To support scientific publications, JSES offers a free Article Processing Charge (APC) for all authors. Additionally, JSES prioritizes articles that involve collaboration with authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia. Articles with co-authors or primary authors from institutions outside Indonesia will receive special consideration during publication.
To further improve publication quality, JSES prioritizes original research articles that employ at least an experimental research method. This means submitted articles must be grounded in strong research foundations and supported by empirical data obtained through experimental or quasi-experimental methods. Purely conceptual studies, literature reviews, or descriptive without an experiment-based analysis will have a lower chance of acceptance. We encourage authors to present research with a well-defined methodology, measurable variables, and analyses that support valid and reliable conclusions.
JSES is also committed to providing a fast and efficient editorial process. We offer a professional review process and relatively quick editorial decisions, ensuring authors receive timely confirmation of their manuscript submissions.
To maintain high academic standards, all references cited in the manuscript must come from international or English-language sources.
For authors from non-English-speaking countries, we strongly recommend using professional proofreading services or tools such as Grammarly to ensure the language quality meets the journal's standards.
We appreciate your attention and cooperation in supporting JSES as a reputable international journal.
Best regards,
The Editorial Team of JSES
