Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Smart Agribusiness takes plagiarism very seriously. We define plagiarism as the use of others' words, ideas, or data without proper attribution.

Similarity Check

All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin or iThenticate software before being sent to reviewers.

Thresholds

  • Similarity Index < 20%: The manuscript will proceed to the review process (provided no single source exceeds 5%).
  • Similarity Index 20% - 25%: The author will be asked to revise and paraphrase the content.
  • Similarity Index > 25%: The manuscript will be rejected immediately.

We do not tolerate self-plagiarism (recycling one's own previous work without citation). Any case of plagiarism detected after publication may result in the retraction of the article.
