Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Journal of Smart Agribusiness and Digitalisation (JSAD) uses plagiarism detection software to screen all submitted manuscripts for similarity and potential plagiarism. Detection of overlapping and similar text is carefully evaluated; therefore, proper quotation, paraphrasing, and appropriate citations must be provided wherever necessary.

All submitted manuscripts are screened by the Editorial Board using similarity checking tools (e.g., Turnitin or other equivalent software). If a manuscript shows a high similarity index generally (above 20%) excluding references and properly cited quotations), the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision or rejected immediately depending on the severity of the case.

Before publication, authors are required to submit a written statement confirming the originality of their work. The originality statement must be signed by the corresponding author or the main author.

JSAD reserves the right to reject, retract, or take appropriate editorial action if plagiarism is detected before or after publication.
