Chelsea FC 2025 Victory Statistics: Analysis of the Key Factors Behind the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Title
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026)This study aims to identify the key statistical factors (KPIs) that determine Chelsea FC's success in winning the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Using a descriptive-analytical quantitative approach, statistical data from 10 (N=10) matches sourced from FIFA and Opta Sports were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The variables tested included ball possession, pass accuracy, shots on target, interceptions, tackles, and clean sheets. The results showed that Shot on Target (β=0.51, p=0.001), Ball Possession (β=0.45, p=0.002), Clean Sheet (β=0.36, p=0.004), and Pass Accuracy (β=0.39, p=0.011) had a positive and significant influence on match results (wins). The tackle and interception variables showed no significant effect (p > 0.05). The analysis model (Adjusted R² = 0.74) confirms that Chelsea's success is not only driven by technical qualities, but also by data-driven strategies that balance game dominance (possession, passing accuracy), attacking efficiency, and defensive solidity.

Garuda Surabaya 2025 Victory Statistics: Analysis of KU Champion Factors – 12 President's Cup 2025
Vol. 1 No. 2 (2026)This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the success of Garuda Surabaya in winning the 2025 President's Cup KU-12 category through statistical approaches and team performance evaluation. The focus of the analysis includes three main aspects, namely (1) the technical performance of the players based on match data, (2) the effectiveness of the game strategy applied by the coach, and (3) the contribution of non-technical factors such as discipline, training patterns, and teamwork dynamics. The research method uses a quantitative-descriptive approach with statistical data processing including ball possession, passing accuracy, chances created, finishing efficiency, and defense data such as interceptions, pressing, and blocks. Data was obtained through direct observation, match recordings, and technical reports from the committee.
The results of the study show that Garuda Surabaya's victory is supported by the dominance of high average ball possession, passing accuracy above the standards of the early age competition, and the effectiveness of the final finish which is more stable than the opponent. On the tactical side, the use of flexible formations and consistent player rotation contributed to the stability of performance throughout the tournament. Non-technical factors such as training intensity, tactical discipline, and team cohesiveness also play a significant role in the team's success. This study concludes that the combination of technical quality, adaptive tactical approach, as well as psychological factors and team organization are the main keys to Garuda Surabaya's success in becoming the 2025 President's Cup KU-12 champion.

Issues in the Management of Indonesian Professional Football Competitions: A Case Study of the Indonesian Liga 2
Vol. 1 No. 4 (2026)The This article aims to uncover various cases and issues occurring within Liga 2. Based on the investigation conducted, problems arise both prior to and during the course of the competition. Poor regulations that frequently change mid-season, coupled with consistent violations by the parties responsible for upholding them including fundamental yet serious internal issues within PSSI constitute the core of the problem.
The Liga 2 competition involves numerous stakeholders and significant financial turnover; it holds the potential to produce high-quality professional clubs, talented players, and competent match officials. The necessary short-term solution is the improvement of the systems and regulations to be implemented in the league. These regulations must align with FIFA statutes and be supported by clear, firm legal enforcement against any violators, backed by the authority of the practitioners involved. Several instruments can serve as long-term solutions: a) Management, b) Broadcasting and sponsorship (Commercial), c) Applied sports science, d) Political and policy measures e) Athlete performance analysis systems (Rattanapian et al., 2017: 1).

Volunteering: Motivations at Community Sport Events in Surabaya, Indonesia
Vol. 1 No. 5 (2026)This qualitative descriptive study explores why people volunteer at community sports events in Surabaya, East Java. We conducted interviews with local event volunteers (e.g. organizers of fun runs, sports festivals, community leagues) and identified key motivation themes. Volunteers most often cited community and altruistic values (wanting to help neighbors, promote health, or uphold the Indonesian gotong royong tradition), personal development (gaining experience, skills, or resume-enhancing credentials), social connections (making friends and feeling part of a team), enjoyment of sports, and recognition (earning certificates or local recognition). These findings echo global sports-volunteer research for example, volunteers often report altruism and a strong sense of community as core motivators and align with Indonesia’s high volunteer culture over 65% of people volunteer. Volunteers also noted that clear organization and support from event organizers are crucial: when management falters, satisfaction drops and motivation wanes. Our results suggest that Surabaya sports events can attract and retain volunteers by appealing to these intrinsic and social motivations and by respecting local values of mutual aid.
