Jurnal ini menjelaskan tentang perhitungan cooling capacity yang dibutuhkan pada Kapal Tanker 17500 LTDW, perhitungan cooling capacity bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya compressor yang dibutuhkan pada system pendingin. Metode yang digunakan adalah menghitung cooling capacity berdasarkan GA (General Arranggement) yang mencakup beberapa parameter yaitu jumlah orang, jumlah jendela, volume ruangan, equipment, dan panas dari lampu. Sehingga didapatkan perhitungan Heat Calculation, Air Capacity, dan Cooling capacity pada sebuah kapal tanker. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cooling capacity kapal Tanker 17500 LTDW sebesar 487,87 kW.
