The Journal of Economic Policy and Financial Systems (JEPFS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Economics Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Surabaya. First published in January 2026, JEFPS is issued twice a year, in January and July. JEFPS publishes high-quality articles on the policy aspects of economics and finance. The Journal welcomes manuscripts that are theoretical, empirical, and policy-focused. The journal prioritises papers that demonstrate originality, strong analysis, clear reasoning, solid evidence, and excellent writing. Submissions to JEPFS undergo a meticulous review process to ensure they meet the journal’s high standards of scholarly rigour and originality. Articles are expected to present new perspectives on economic and financial issues through either quantitative methods, such as econometric modelling, statistical analysis, and computational techniques or qualitative approaches, including case studies, interviews, and thematic analysis. This comprehensive evaluation ensures that every publication offers a meaningful contribution to the discipline, equipping researchers, policymakers, and practitioners with valuable insights to enhance both theoretical knowledge and real-world applications in economics and finance. Ultimately, JEPFS aims to serve as a premier platform for advancing interdisciplinary understanding and innovation in the field.
