About the Journal
The Journal of Digital Economic Teaching (JDET) is a scholarly journal focused on the development, implementation, and evaluation of digital innovations in the teaching of economics, business, accounting, entrepreneurship, and related fields of economic education. JDET serves as an academic forum for researchers, faculty members, teachers, education practitioners, students, and educational technology developers to disseminate research findings and scholarly ideas regarding the transformation of economic education in the digital age.
JDET publishes articles based on empirical research, conceptual and theoretical studies, systematic literature reviews, development research, case studies, and innovative practices that contribute to improving the quality of learning. The journal’s scope includes digital economic education, digital pedagogy, technology-enhanced learning, artificial intelligence in education, learning management systems, mobile learning, blended and hybrid learning, gamification, virtual and augmented learning environments, digital assessment, learning analytics, digital financial literacy, digital entrepreneurship education, and the development of digital media and learning resources.
JDET also focuses on the use of digital technology to support adaptive, personalized, inclusive, collaborative, and learner-centered learning, including the application of artificial intelligence, big data, simulations, interactive multimedia, and various emerging technologies in economics education. Studies on the digital competencies of teachers and faculty, students’ digital literacy, technology-based curriculum development, as well as policies and governance related to the digital transformation of education are also key components of the journal’s scope.
Through the publication of high-quality scholarly works, the Journal of Digital Economic Teaching (JDET) aims to strengthen the integration of economics education, pedagogy, and digital technology, while fostering the emergence of learning innovations relevant to the development of the digital economy and 21st-century competency needs.
JDET is expected to serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices at both the national and international levels and to contribute to the development of an innovative, adaptive, inclusive, technology-based, and sustainable economic education ecosystem.
