Journal of Collaborative Biomedicine is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to advancing biomedical knowledge through collaborative, interdisciplinary, and translational research. The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, clinicians, academics, and health professionals to disseminate high-quality scientific work in biomedical sciences, molecular medicine, clinical research, preventive medicine, and health innovation.

As a journal under the Medical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, the Journal of Collaborative Biomedicine emphasizes the integration of biomolecular sciences, clinical medicine, public health, and applied biomedical research. The journal particularly encourages studies that contribute to the improvement of health outcomes, disease prevention, diagnostic development, therapeutic innovation, and evidence-based medical practice.

AIM AND SCOPE 

The Journal of Collaborative Biomedicine aims to promote integrative and collaborative research in biomedical sciences and medicine. The journal seeks to bridge basic biomedical research, clinical application, preventive health, and interdisciplinary innovation.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Biomolecular and Biomedical Sciences:  The journal welcomes studies exploring molecular mechanism underlying health and disease, Including:  
    • Genetics, genomics, and epigenetics
    • Proteomics, metabolomics, and other omics-based research
    • Molecular biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic response
    • Pathophysiological mechanisms of communicable and non-communicable diseases
    • Molecular basis of inflammation, oxidative stress, aging, and metabolic disorders
    • Experimental biomedical research using in vitro, in vivo, or translational models

The Journal of Collaborative Biomedicine was established by the Medical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, as part of its commitment to strengthening biomedical research, academic publication, and scientific collaboration.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, scientifically valid, and not under consideration by other journals. PEER REVIEW PROCESS 

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Collaborative Biomedicine undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope, scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and adherence to author guidelines.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for peer review by qualified reviewers with relevant expertise. The journal applies a peer-review process to ensure the academic quality, validity, and contribution of each published article.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES- BRIEF DESCRIPTION 

The Journal of Collaborative Biomedicine accepts manuscripts in the form of original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, case reports, short communications, and other scholarly works within the journal’s scope.

Authors are expected to prepare manuscripts according to the journal’s template and submission guidelines. Manuscripts must be written clearly, ethically, and scientifically, with appropriate citations, valid methodology, and transparent reporting of findings.

Studies involving human participants, animals, or biological samples must include a statement of ethical approval where applicable.
