Author Guidelines

Journal of Cultural Narratives in Digital Society publishes original, high-quality research articles that examine the intersection of culture, narratives, and digital technologies. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary work that draws from media studies, digital humanities, communication, linguistics, literature, and related fields. We are committed to a rigorous and efficient peer-review process for all submissions.

Before submitting your manuscript, please review the following guidelines:

Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear, academic English. Both American and British spelling are acceptable, as long as usage is consistent throughout the paper.

  • Length: Manuscripts should be 5,000 to 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

  • Abstract and Keywords: Provide an abstract (max. 250 words) summarizing the research focus, methodology, and key findings. Include 4–6 keywords relevant to the content of the article.

  • Formatting: Use 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides. Number all pages consecutively.

  • Structure: Organize the manuscript according to the IMRAD format:

    • Introduction

    • Methodology

    • Results

    • Analysis

    • Discussion

  • Citations and References: Follow APA Style (7th Edition) for all in-text citations and reference lists. Ensure all references cited in-text appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

  • Tables and Figures: Embed all tables and figures within the main text. Number them consecutively and include descriptive captions.

Submission Process

  • Register/Login: Authors must create an account or log in on the Journal of Cultural Narratives in Digital Society submission platform.

  • Upload Files: Submit your manuscript in .doc or .docx format via the online system.

  • Supplementary Files: Additional documents such as appendices or raw data must be submitted as separate files.

Review Process

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review by at least two experts in the relevant field. Authors' identities are concealed from reviewers, and vice versa, to ensure fairness and objectivity.

  • All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with more than 15% similarity will be rejected without review.
