The Indonesian Journal of Rural and Regional Innovation Studies (IJRRIS) upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and is committed to ensuring the integrity of the academic record. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing ethical issues at all stages of the publication process.
Authors must submit original works that have not been published elsewhere or under consideration in another journal.
All forms of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
Authors must provide accurate and complete data, as well as sufficient methodological details to allow replication of the study.
All sources used must be properly cited and acknowledged.
Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, or personal) that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
For research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data, authors must ensure compliance with relevant ethical standards and approvals.
Editors are responsible for fair and impartial decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection, based solely on scholarly merit and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Editors must ensure that the peer review process is double-blind, objective, and confidential.
Editors should not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author’s explicit consent.
Editors must take appropriate action when ethical concerns or misconduct are reported regarding a submitted or published paper.
Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts.
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and must not use information obtained during the review process for personal advantage.
Reviews must be objective, constructive, and free from personal bias.
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest that may affect their evaluation.
The publisher ensures that the editorial process is conducted in an ethical, transparent, and professional manner.
The publisher works closely with editors to safeguard the integrity and quality of published content.
The publisher takes necessary steps to prevent and address research misconduct, plagiarism, or unethical practices in publication.
Allegations of research or publication misconduct (such as plagiarism, falsification, or unethical research practices) will be investigated following COPE flowcharts.
Proven misconduct may result in manuscript rejection, article retraction, and/or notification to the author’s institution.
