Edit Edit About the JournalAs a journal committed to sustainable development, the International Journal of Business and Innovation Management supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. Research published in this journal contributes directly or indirectly to various SDG objectives, including: SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the dissemination of scientific knowledge that is freely accessible to all layers of academia and society; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through studies on strategic management, entrepreneurship, and business innovation that promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through research on innovation management, e-business, and management information systems that strengthen industrial capacity; SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) through international business studies and business ethics that promote fair and just business practices; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through cross-country and institutional research collaboration reflected in the composition of the editorial team and the international reviewer network of this journal.
This journal fully implements an open access policy, whereby all content is freely available to the public, as a tangible form of support for broader global knowledge exchange and the democratization of science. The copyright of the published articles is transferred to MMI SPS UNESA, but permission for reproduction for teaching and educational purposes may be granted provided that the source and copyright are properly cited, while reproduction for other purposes requires a written request to the editor-in-chief.
The manuscript selection process is conducted through a double-blind peer review system, where each manuscript is critically and constructively evaluated by independent reviewers who are competent in their respective fields. Acceptance decisions are based on the significance of the article's contribution to the literature in the field of business and innovation management, as well as the rigor of its analysis and presentation. To maintain scientific integrity, all submitted manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection tools, with a tolerance limit of no more than 5%. This journal is published twice a year, in April and September, and all publications are digitally archived through Indonesia One Search (IOS) and Garuda (Ministry of Education and Culture) to ensure the preservation and accessibility of journal content on an ongoing basis.
