The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the hospitality industry to utilize websites for information and promotion. However, Villa XYZ currently relies on social media, which limits the accessibility and completeness of information for potential customers. This study aims to develop a website based on user requirements and evaluate its functionality using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the SDLC prototyping model. Functional testing was conducted using black box testing. The results showed that the website met user requirements and passed all functional tests, achieving an effectiveness score of 100% across 21 test cases. This study contributes to villa-based website development through the SDLC prototyping model and black box testing as a systematic functional testing method.
