This study aims to analyze and understand the differences in Human Resource Management (HRM) practices between Mexico and Switzerland. The focus is on the influence of culture on HRM practices and adaptive strategies to achieve optimal performance in a multicultural work environment. The methodology used is a literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach. This study utilizes various written sources, including journal articles, websites, and related documents, to describe cross-cultural HRM practices in both countries. Data processing involves selecting information and comparing practices in both countries. The study found that there are significant differences in HRM practices between Mexico and Switzerland, which are influenced by work culture, labor regulations, and social values. In Mexico, HRM practices focus more on social and family relationships, while Switzerland emphasizes efficiency, quality, and transparency in managing employees. These findings provide insight into the importance of understanding the influence of culture on HRM practices. They also highlight the need for an adaptive approach to cross-cultural human resource management in order to improve organizational performance in a multicultural environment. This research can help multinational organizations design effective and inclusive HRM strategies that are tailored to the specific cultural context of each country.
