Abstract

This study aims to compare Human Resource Management (HRM) practices between Indonesia and Colombia, focusing on indicators of recruitment, selection, training, development, occupational safety and health, performance appraisal, and termination of employment. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach, utilizing various written sources such as journal articles, official documents, and websites. The results of the study show significant differences in HRM practices between the two countries, reflecting the strong influence of cultural context, local values, and economic structure. The implications of this research provide insights for HRM practitioners and stakeholders to develop strategies that are responsive and appropriate to the unique characteristics of each country. Understanding these differences will help improve the effectiveness and relevance of HRM practices in facing future challenges in the era of globalization.
