Ethical Clearance

Asean Journal of Self and Psychological Measurement (AJSPM) requires that all research involving human participants complies with recognized ethical standards (e.g., the Declaration of Helsinki or comparable standards). Authors must obtain approval from an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board prior to data collection and include an ethics statement in the manuscript.
Manuscripts must confirm that informed consent was obtained from participants, or from legal guardians in the case of minors, and that confidentiality and anonymity have been adequately protected. Where ethical approval or consent was waived by an authorized review body, authors must clearly state the waiver and provide justification.

The editorial team may request additional documentation or clarification where necessary. Failure to meet these requirements may result in rejection, or post-publication action where appropriate, including correction or retraction in line with COPE guidance.
