Articles in Press (Online First)

Articles in Press are those that have been accepted for publication in this journal. Once the final article is assigned to a volume/issue, the in-press version will be removed, and the final version will appear in the relevant volume/issue. The date the article was first made available online will carry over. Please note that, although articles in print may not have all bibliographic details, they can already be cited using the online publication year and DOI, as follows: author(s), article title, journal (year), DOI.

Please consult the journal's reference style for the correct format of these elements, the abbreviation of the journal name, and the use of punctuation.

There are three types of Articles in Press:

Journal pre-proofs: The version of the article that has been improved after acceptance, such as the addition of the cover page and metadata, and formatting for ease of reading, but is not yet the definitive record version. These versions will undergo copyediting, typesetting, and further review before being published in their final form, but are made available to provide early visibility of the article. Please note that errors may be found during the production process that could affect the content, and all legal disclaimers applicable to the journal remain in effect.

Uncorrected proofs: Articles that have been copyedited and formatted but are not yet finalized. They still need to be read and corrected by the author, and the text may still change before final publication.

Corrected proofs: Articles that contain author corrections. Final citation details, such as volume and/or issue number, publication year, and page numbers, still need to be added, and the text may change before final publication.
