Pelatihan Pelatih TOEFL ITP untuk Guru di Pondok Pesantren Bumi Shalawat

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas guru di SMA Progresif Pondok Pesantren Bumi Shalawat Sidoarjo agar dapat berperan sebagai pelatih TOEFL ITP internal. Program ini dilaksanakan dari September hingga Oktober 2025 dan melibatkan 15 guru. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan dan pendampingan partisipatif melalui analisis kebutuhan, pra-uji, lokakarya tentang bagian-bagian TOEFL ITP, praktik analisis item, pengembangan rencana pembelajaran, pengajaran mikro, evaluasi pasca-uji, dan perencanaan tindak lanjut. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang terukur. Pemahaman peserta tentang TOEFL ITP meningkat dari 75% sebelum program menjadi 100% setelah program, sementara kesiapan mengajar meningkat dari 35% menjadi 80%. Pengembangan produk pelatihan, termasuk rencana pembelajaran, materi praktik, dan rencana tindak lanjut, juga meningkat sebesar 50%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa program tersebut memperkuat pemahaman konseptual guru, kesiapan pedagogis, dan kapasitas kelembagaan untuk memulai program pelatihan TOEFL ITP internal. Keunikan program ini terletak pada orientasinya yang berfokus pada pelatihan bagi pelatih, yaitu memberdayakan guru sebagai fasilitator lokal daripada sekadar mempersiapkan mereka sebagai peserta ujian. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berkontribusi pada pemberdayaan guru dan memberikan landasan praktis untuk dukungan TOEFL ITP yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah.
