Strengthening Teacher Well-Being through Fitness and Counseling Training: Community Engagement at Sekolah Indonesia Makkah

Kesejahteraan guru merupakan penentu penting kualitas pendidikan, namun banyak pendidik terutama mereka yang bekerja di luar negeri. Mereka menghadapi tantangan yang membahayakan kesehatan fisik dan psikologis mereka. Program keterlibatan masyarakat (PKM) yang dilakukan oleh Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) di Sekolah Indonesia Makkah (SIM), Arab Saudi, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru melalui pelatihan kebugaran dan konseling terpadu. Menggunakan model hibrida yang menggabungkan kuliah daring dan praktik luring, 23 guru berpartisipasi dalam sesi latihan fisik terstruktur, pendidikan kesehatan, dan lokakarya bimbingan dan konseling. Penilaian dasar menunjukkan bahwa 78% peserta jarang terlibat dalam olahraga dan 65% tidak puas dengan kondisi fisik mereka. Data pasca-intervensi mengungkapkan peningkatan substansial: 87% guru mulai berolahraga setiap minggu, melaporkan tingkat energi dan motivasi yang lebih tinggi, dan menunjukkan kesadaran yang lebih besar tentang kesejahteraan dalam mengajar. Kompetensi konseling juga meningkat tajam, dengan 90% peserta mampu menerapkan strategi bimbingan preventif dan perkembangan di kelas. Umpan balik kualitatif menekankan peningkatan kolegialitas, ketahanan emosional, dan rasa kebersamaan yang lebih kuat, yang berpuncak pada pembentukan Klub Kebugaran Guru sebagai hasil yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi pelatihan kesejahteraan fisik dan psikologis memperkuat kapasitas profesional guru, mendorong pendidikan holistik, dan mencerminkan peran transformatif universitas dalam kemitraan komunitas global.
