Pelatihan Design Painting Tote Bag Reyog dan Batik Selayu: Meningkatkan Kreativitas dan Kewirausahaan

Abstrak

This activity aims to develop students' creativity and sustainable entrepreneurship. The activities were carried out in two schools that had been selected and were in two districts, namely at SMP Negeri 5 Ponorogo and UPT SMP Negeri 1 Selorejo. Although the main target of the training is students, teachers are also involved as coordinators in the ongoing activities. The teacher's active role in the success of this training is as a guide, supervisor and supporter of students throughout the process. When students carry out the activity process, on the other hand, supervisors can provide direction and suggestions when there are obstacles and can support them in developing their creative ideas. This activity consists of: (1) Reyog Ponorogo Tote Bag Painting Design Training and (2) Selayu Batik Making Training. Implementation of activities is divided into three stages, namely (1) planning; (2) implementation; and (3) evaluation. There are three methods used, namely: (1) lecture; (2) demonstration; (3) practice; and (4) discussion. In these two trainings, SMP Negeri 5 Ponorogo and UPT SMP Negeri 1 Selorejo were very enthusiastic in providing their full support so that the process carried out ran smoothly and according to expectations. The form of support provided is in the form of physical support such as facilities and infrastructure and also mental support. The existing form of support is very useful because with this, the basis for implementing activities becomes solid and strong. From the training that has been carried out, the results obtained are in the form of physical products, namely tote bags with paribasan designs with Javanese characters and local Reyog Ponorogo icons and Selayu batik. The continuation of the two trainings held is to make the activities part of the P5 project held in schools as a form of implementing the independent curriculum. In the field of entrepreneurship, the usefulness of this training can be realized by improving its implementation when students are at the next level or after entering society later. Of course, with the development of better and more focused innovation, it can be beneficial for students.
