Virtuoso: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Musik is an international music journal that publishes scientific articles focusing on all aspects of music in Indonesia, including popular music studies, ethnomusicology, digital music, music performance, and music education. Music creation studies include music composition. Virtuoso contains articles by researchers from various disciplines and theoretical perspectives. Each issue contains articles of substance, novelty, findings, and the dissemination of ideas related to practical and theoretical developments in the field of music.

In September 2021, Virtuoso Journal is improving from OJS 2.0 to OJS 3.0, so then editors and reviewers could not enter the system. The process changes the display theme of the Virtuoso Journal to be more fresh, dynamic, simple, and elegant.
