Perpindahan masyarakat ke kota untuk mencari pekerjaan tentunya juga sejalan dengan meningkatnya akan kebutuhan tempat tinggal seperti rumah susun, apartemen, serta bangunan gedung lain yang difungsikan sebagai tempat tinggal. Proses pembangunan Gedung konstruksi merupakan suatu kegiatan yang komplek dan melibatkan banyak pihak. Dengan kondisi tersebut membuat pekerjaan konstruksi menjadi tidak aman dan rentan terhadap beberapa risiko yang mungkin terjadi dan dapat berdapak negatif. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko pada pekerjaan proyek konstruksi bangunan gedung sebagai tempat tinggal. Penelitian ini merupakan eksploratif deskriptif dengan responden dari praktisi industri konstruksi yang pernah yang pernah mengerjakan proyek gedung. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara langsung kepada para responden. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan terdapat 13 sumber risiko yaitu Planning (Perencanaan), Environmental (Lingkungan), Ekonomic (Ekonomi), Financial (Keuangan), Political (Politik), Market (Pemasaran), Natural (Alami), Technical (Teknik), Human (Manusia), Project Proyek, Crime (Kriminal), dan Safety (Keselamatan). Sedangkan ketidakpastian yang sering terjadi dari masing-masing sumber tersebut antara lain dampak sosial dan ekonomi, perijinan, inflasi, kerugian, perundang-undangan, persaingan, kondisi cuaca, kelengkapan desain, kelalaian, perencanaan dan penendalian, pencurian, tidak menaati k3.
