Studi Perilaku Dinding Geser Pelat Baja Berlubang dengan Pembebanan Siklik

Sebuah dinding geser pelat baja Steel Plate Shear Wall (SPSW) adalah struktur yang terbuat dari baja dimana bertugas untuk menahan beban lateral yang terdiri dari tiga komponen, yaitu pelat/panel baja, balok baja yang disebut sebagai horizontal boundary elements (HBE) dan kolom baja yang disebut vertical boudary elements (VBE). SPSW ada beberapa model diantaranya SPSW panel solid dan SPSW panel perforasi. SPSW perforasi membutuhkan dimensi kolom dan balok yang lebih kecil dari SPSW solid untuk menahan gaya axial dan momen guling yang terjadi. Hal ini dikareakan SPSW perforasi lebih elastis dibanding SPSW solid. SPSW perforasi pada plat baja dilakukan untuk mengurangi kekuatan, sehingg memungkinkan penggunaan pelat yang lebih tebal guna meningkatkan kekakuan dan kapasitas disipasi energi tanpa memperbesar ukuran dari HBE dan VBE. SPSW perforasi pada studi ini menggunkan metode penempatan lubang pada SPSW perforations along the plate diagonal. Pendekatan ini terdiri dari 3 variasi model perforasi diantaranya lubang lingkaran, segi empat, dan segi enam berada pada sepanjang diagonal dari pelat baja. Studi SPSW perforasi ini ditujukan untuk mendapatkan model perforasi yang paling efektif ditinjau dari load carrying capacity, top displacement, hysteresis curves dan failure mode. Dalam proses Analisa dan pemodelan simulasinya akan menggunakan software program bantu Abaqus 6.10
