Digital Capitalism and Platform Dependency in Indonesia: Media, Power, and Political Economy

Artikel ini menganalisis transformasi digital di Indonesia melalui perspektif ekonomi politik media dengan menitikberatkan pada dinamika struktural ketergantungan platform, tenaga kerja digital, datafikasi, dan relasi tata kelola. Berdasarkan analisis kualitatif terhadap sumber data sekunder, termasuk laporan statistik, dokumen kebijakan, dan studi akademik, penelitian ini memposisikan platform digital sebagai aktor infrastruktur yang mereorganisasi proses komunikasi dan mekanisme ekstraksi nilai. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem digital Indonesia yang didominasi platform ditandai oleh asimetri struktural dalam kontrol infrastruktur, pengaturan tenaga kerja, dan tata kelola data. Transformasi digital tidak semata mencerminkan kemajuan teknologi, melainkan melibatkan rekonfigurasi kekuasaan media dan partisipasi yang dimediasi platform. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada kajian media kritis dengan menjelaskan bagaimana kapitalisme digital membentuk ulang lingkungan komunikasi dan dinamika tata kelola dalam masyarakat digital kontemporer.Referensi
