Reviewer Guidelines & CV

The Journal of Strategic Behaviour Accounting (JSBA) is committed to maintaining a rigorous, objective, and ethical peer review process. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, fair, confidential, and timely evaluations of manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

1. evaluate manuscripts objectively based on academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution;
2. provide clear and constructive comments to help authors improve the manuscript;
3. maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and all review materials;
4. declare any potential conflict of interest before accepting a review assignment;
5. avoid using unpublished manuscript content for personal or professional advantage;
6. complete the review within the agreed review period;
7. inform the editor if the manuscript contains suspected plagiarism, ethical issues, data manipulation, or duplicate publication.

Reviewer Ethics

Reviewers must conduct the review process with integrity, independence, and confidentiality. Reviewers should not share, copy, cite, or use any part of the manuscript before publication. If reviewers feel unqualified to assess the manuscript or are unable to complete the review on time, they should notify the editor immediately.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must decline the review invitation if they have a conflict of interest with the author, institution, research project, funding source, or manuscript topic. Potential conflicts include personal, academic, institutional, financial, or professional relationships that may affect objectivity.

Reviewer CV Requirement

Prospective reviewers are encouraged to submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing:

1. full name;
2. institutional affiliation;
3. academic degree and position;
4. area of expertise;
5. publication record;
6. reviewing or editorial experience, if any;
7. ORCID ID, Google Scholar profile, Scopus ID, or other academic profile, if available;
8. active email address.

JSBA welcomes reviewers with expertise in:

Strategic and Behavioral Accounting; Strategic Management Accounting; Organizational and Management Control Systems; Accounting Information Systems and Digital Transformation; Auditing, Professional Ethics, and Good Governance; Banking and Financial Institutions; Sustainability / ESG Accounting; and Cross-Cultural / International Accounting.
