Become a Reviewer
The Journal of Strategic Behaviour Accounting (JSBA) welcomes academics, researchers, and professionals with relevant expertise to join our reviewer team.
Reviewers play an important role in maintaining the academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and ethical standards of manuscripts submitted to JSBA. All reviews are conducted through a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective reviewers should meet the following criteria:
1. Hold at least a master’s degree or doctoral degree in accounting, management, finance, information systems, governance, sustainability, or other related fields;
2. Have academic expertise relevant to the focus and scope of JSBA;
3. Have experience in research, publication, or manuscript review;
4. Have published scholarly articles in national or international journals;
5. Be willing to provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews;
6. Have no conflict of interest with the manuscript, author, or affiliated institution being reviewed.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to:
1. Evaluate manuscripts objectively and professionally;
2. Assess the originality, relevance, theoretical contribution, methodology, findings, discussion, and references of the manuscript;
3. Provide constructive comments to help authors improve their work;
4. Maintain confidentiality of all manuscripts and review materials;
5. Inform the editor if there is any potential conflict of interest;
6. Complete the review within the agreed review period.
Areas of Expertise
JSBA particularly welcomes reviewers with expertise in:
Strategic and Behavioral Accounting; Strategic Management Accounting; Organizational and Management Control Systems; Accounting Information Systems and Digital Transformation; Auditing, Professional Ethics, and Good Governance; Banking and Financial Institutions; Sustainability / ESG Accounting; and Cross-Cultural / International Accounting.

4. Email address;
5. ORCID ID, Google Scholar profile, Scopus ID, or other academic profile, if available.
Applications may be sent to the editorial office through the journal contact email or submitted through the reviewer registration form available on the JSBA website.
Reviewer Ethics
Reviewers must uphold confidentiality, integrity, objectivity, and academic ethics. Manuscripts received for review may not be shared, used, or cited before publication. Any suspected plagiarism, ethical issue, data manipulation, or conflict of interest should be reported to the editor.
