About the Journal

JPSI (Journal of Public Sector Innovations) is a peer-reviewed publication committed to disseminating quality articles twice a year in May and November. The journal boasts registration with ISSN 2548-396X (Online) and ISSN 2541-4291 (Print) and is expertly managed and published by the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social Science and Law, Universitas Negeri Surabaya in collaboration with Asosiasi Ilmuwan Administrasi Negara (AsIAN).

We are honoured to announce that JPSI (Journal of Public Sector Innovations) has achieved accreditation (Sinta 3) by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Research, Technology and the Higher Education Republic of Indonesia with registration number 230/E/KPT /2022.

Our journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge in Public Policy, Public Management, and Local Governance by critically weighing theories and their practical applications, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian context and global perspective. Furthermore, JPSI (Journal of Public Sector Innovations) is available to all readers free of charge, enabling the dissemination of innovative research to a broad and diverse audience.

Readers of the journal are earnestly invited to contribute their ideas to this forum. 

Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to JPSI will be read and reviewed blindly (double-blind peer review) by (minimum) 2 Peer-reviewers who are experts in their field. All incoming articles will be checked for authenticity to prevent plagiarism by using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.

The entire process from submission until the publishing of articles is free of charge (no article processing and submission charges). All articles published on JPSI are open access by following the Creative Commons: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. Full license can be found here.

Publication Frequency

JPSI (Journal of Public Sector Innovations) is managed by the Department of Public Administration, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. JPSI is published twice a year in May and November.
