Practicum activities on campus, particularly those conducted in laboratories, generate various types of waste that, if not properly managed, may negatively affect the environment and health. Responsible waste management represents one form of higher education institutions' contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 12 on responsible consumption and production. This study aims to describe the level of students' environmental awareness and their responses toward the management of waste generated from practicum activities, and to analyze its relevance to campus efforts in achieving the SDGs. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach through a survey method using questionnaires distributed to students actively involved in practicum activities. Data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the percentage achievement of each indicator of environmental awareness, covering knowledge, attitude, and participation. The results indicate that students' environmental awareness is in the good category (78.5%), with knowledge at 82%, attitude at 85%, while concrete participation still requires strengthening (68.5%). These findings illustrate the extent to which students understand, care about, and actively participate in practicum waste management, serving as a basis for policy recommendations toward better campus waste management aligned with the sustainable development agenda.
