Focus and Scope

KRONIK is open acces journal (free acces) for every reader and is managed to be issued twice in every volume. The Scope of KRONIK journal are:

  • Indonesian History
  • Indonesian Archeology
  • History of Education
  • Social, Antropology, etc in a historical perspective

Peer Review Process

To maintain the consistency of the issues, the editorial board has established a peer-review process policy:

  1. The reviewer accepts the assignments given by the Section Editor in accordance with the competency of the reviewed manuscript knowledge;
  2. The reviewer will only review the manuscripts / articles that are relevant to the topic of the journal KRONIK, with the approval of the Editor.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal KRONIK terbit 2 kali dalam setahun (Bulan Juni dan Desember)

Open Access Policy

Jurnal ini menyediakan akses terbuka dan gratis (open access), dengan prinsip kemudahan dan keterbukaan akses informasi yang murah demi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan bidang Sejarah, Arkeologi dan Kependidikan Sejarah.

Journal History

KRONIK : The Journal of History Education and Historiography is published by History Education Department, Faculty of Social Science and Law collaborated with Indonesia Historians Society East Java, (Masyarakat Sejarawan Indonesia Jawa Timur) and Indonesian Archeologist Association East Java, (Ikatan Ahli Arkeologi Indonesia Jawa Timur). Kronik  firstly was published in 2017.The range of carried studies in the publication includes research history education, historical studies, archeology, anthropology, and sociology that contains about theory, methodology, reconstruction, Archeology, and history learning.
