Abstract
Data of students SMP Negeri 4 Surabaya shows that about 13% of students live with incomplete parents or core families including orphaned students and non-parents. The potential for disformation and retreat of academic development is very large for un-intact family students so it needs help from the school and the residential environment. This condition will result in the student's activeness being low and not even seen at all in online learning activities. The design of this study is qualitative descriptive research, research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behaviors (Tanzeh, 2011). The source of this research data is the primary source, the students from grade 7 students and grade 8 of SMP X. Researchers also used secondary sources in this study, teachers, parents of the students, and supporting documents. The techniques used in this study are observation, interview, and documentation studies. Based on the conditions obtained by the researchers, it can be known that the activeness of un-intact family students in following online learning is very lacking, low participation, and tends to be lazy, discouraged, and less interested. The resulting impact will directly result in un-intact family students experiencing missed lesson materials, missed school activity information, low inland material, lack of communication with teachers and peers, and the atmosphere of online teaching and learning activities. The resulting indirect impacts include decreased cognitive power of students, impaired psychic and mental students because they are unable to follow learning activities and practically, increased anxiety of students excessively to the current condition in learning activities, low social skills of students, low learning achievement, and difficulty in developing talents and interests.
