Journal of Art and Creativity in Early Childhood Education (JACECE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Early Childhood Education, PSDKU UNESA, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia. The journal is published biannually (June and December) and serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate high-quality research and innovative practices in the fields of art, creativity, and early childhood education.
JACECE publishes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers covering a broad range of topics, including art education, creativity development, play-based learning, visual arts, music, dance, drama, STEAM education, creative pedagogy, educational technology, curriculum innovation, child development, and other interdisciplinary studies related to early childhood education. Manuscripts are accepted in English to support wider international dissemination and academic collaboration.
Authors are encouraged to read the Author Guidelines carefully before submitting their manuscripts. All submissions must follow the journal's formatting and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not comply with the submission guidelines may be returned to the authors or rejected prior to the peer-review process.
Registration and login are required to submit manuscripts online and to monitor the progress of submissions through the journal management system
Current Issue
Journal of Art and Creativity in Early Childhood Education Volume 2 Number 1 is a scientific publication containing articles resulting from research and academic studies related to art, creativity, and early childhood education. This publication provides a forum for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share ideas, findings, and scientific thinking that contribute to the development of science and practice in early childhood education.
This edition presents a variety of articles with diverse approaches and perspectives, reflecting the dynamics and richness of research in the field of art and creativity in early childhood education. All published articles have undergone a selection and peer-review process to ensure quality and academic integrity.
Through the publication of Volume 2 Number 1, Journal of Art and Creativity in Early Childhood Education is expected to become a useful reference source and encourage the development of sustainable research and innovation in the field of early childhood education.
