Chloride is an anion that dissolves easily in water and is the main inorganic anion present in water. Excess chloride can cause a decrease in water quality due to high salinity. The purpose of this study was to determine the chloride content in a 100 mL sample of lake water at the Ketintang campus, Surabaya State University. Determination of chloride content using Mohr's titration Argentometry method. The sample used was lake water from the Ketintang Campus, Surabaya State University, which was carried out 7 times with titration repetitions. The sample was given K2CrO4 indicator and then titrated with 0.0141 N silver nitrate standard solution until a brick red color end point (TAT) occurred. Results of analysis of chloride levels in lake water at Surabaya State University with an average of 62 mg/L. Based on these results, it was concluded that chloride levels in lake water samples at Surabaya State University were below the maximum limit stipulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 22 Year 2021.
