Abstract

Digital transformation requires organizations to align strategic objectives with well-structured information systems planning. This study aims to propose a Digitalization-based Strategic System Planning (DSSP) model to support strategic digitalization initiatives in the clothing industry. Adopting a qualitative approach, the research integrates the Strategic Information Systems Planning (SISP) framework by Ward and Peppard as the strategic foundation and the TOGAF Standard Version 10, limited to Architecture Development Method (ADM) Phases A, B, and C, as the architectural design framework. The proposed model is validated using the McFarlan Strategic Grid to assess the strategic positioning of the information systems portfolio. The results indicate that the DSSP model demonstrates strategic coherence and alignment between business strategy and information systems architecture. The study contributes a structured reference model to support digital transformation initiatives within the clothing industry.
