This study examines the implications of cultural differences on organizational culture and human resource management (HRM) in the workplace, with a contextual focus on Germany and Canada. Through a cross-cultural approach, the research explores the relationship between organizational culture and HRM practices, with key aspects including recruitment, selection, training, development, compensation, occupational health and safety (OHS), and termination of employment. By understanding the cultural dynamics that influence each of these elements, this study aims to provide deeper insights into how workplace diversity is reflected in HRM policies and practices in both countries. The findings are expected to offer guidance for global organizations in adapting their HRM strategies to different cultural contexts, enhancing effectiveness, and leveraging the strengths that arise from diversity. This study contributes to stakeholders interested in understanding how organizational culture and HRM can serve as determining factors of success in multicultural work environments.
