FOCUS AND SCOPE

Comparative Law and Sustainable Development (CLSD) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original and rigorous scholarship on comparative law and sustainable development. The journal examines how legal systems, institutions, regulations, and policies across jurisdictions respond to contemporary social, economic, environmental, technological, and governance challenges.

CLSD welcomes comparative, interdisciplinary, empirical, theoretical, and socio-legal research covering areas including environmental and climate law, human rights, constitutional and administrative law, international law, economic and business law, natural resources law, digital and technology law, social justice, governance, and law and development. Priority is given to studies that offer critical cross-jurisdictional analysis, theoretical or methodological innovation, and clear implications for legal reform and sustainable development. Manuscripts outside the journal’s focus and scope will not be considered for peer review.
