Abstract

The purpose of this research is to uncover the criminality that occurs based on the psychological condition of the characters in the film "Stealing Raden Saleh" and the impact caused. This study uses a qualitative method that presents data in the form of descriptive analysis. The main data in the study is the film "Stealing Raden Saleh" which is presented through screenshots of images that are relevant to the discussion and discussion. Data analysis techniques go through several stages, including identification, analysis, interpretation, inference, and validation of data. The results of the study showed that there were criminal acts committed by figures that suppressed their psychological condition, namely theft, forgery, data and information hacking, and fights. The crime caused feelings of inner turmoil among the characters such as anxiety, worry, fear, and guilt. This study presents novelty about crime conflicts that are often encountered in real life and how psychological conditions affect individual decision-making. In addition, this research is expected to enrich insights into the importance of maintaining psychological conditions and the development of works or films in the future.
