Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi Desa Arjowinangun sebagai destinasi wisata batik dengan fokus pada peran komitmen pemangku kepentingan dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memposisikan desa sebagai pusat produksi batik, khususnya batik tulis, dan menjadikan batik tulis Woro Srikandi sebagai merek unggulan di Kabupaten Pacitan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dalam konteks komunikasi pembangunan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi partisipan, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan analisis dokumen, seperti data desa 2023 dan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Desa (RPJMDes) 2019-2023. Informan kunci penelitian adalah 12 orang, yang terdiri dari perangkat desa, pengelola Bumdes Arjuna Mulya, tokoh masyarakat, organisasi pemuda, tokoh agama, pemilik usaha batik, perajin batik, pengelola wisata, warga masyarakat, dan perwakilan dari Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Pacitan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tiga hasil penting: (1) keberhasilan integrasi batik tulis ke dalam rencana pembangunan desa oleh pemerintah daerah dan Bumdes, (2) penetapan batik tulis Woro Srikandi sebagai destinasi wisata edukasi, dan (3) meningkatnya kesadaran warga akan wisata, yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi kreatif yang mendukung inisiatif wisata batik tulis. Hasil ini memberikan kontribusi berkelanjutan dan inovatif bagi bidang komunikasi pembangunan, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa melalui kolaborasi dan keahlian semua pemangku kepentingan yang terlibat.

Heidy Arviani is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur, Indonesia. She teaches courses such as Technical Scientific Writing, Digital Advertising, and Creative Branding. As a researcher, her areas of interest include micro-marketing, digital branding, advertising, and digital communication (N6jKDYAAAAJ).
