Peer Reviewers

The Journal of Social Dynamics and Governance (JSDG) gratefully acknowledges the contribution of scholars and experts who support the journal's peer review process. Peer reviewers play an essential role in maintaining the academic quality, integrity, originality, and relevance of manuscripts published by the journal.

JSDG appoints reviewers based on their academic expertise, research experience, publication record, methodological competence, and relevance to the subject matter of the manuscript. Reviewers are selected from scholars with expertise in areas consistent with the journal's aims and scope, including public administration, public policy, governance, political science, sociology, government studies, international relations, communication, sustainable development, digital governance, social development, education, and other related social science disciplines.

The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential during the review process. Each manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening is normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

To ensure an objective and credible review process, JSDG seeks to involve reviewers from diverse academic institutions, disciplinary backgrounds, and countries. Reviewer assignments are made by the editorial team according to the manuscript's subject area and the reviewer's expertise.

Reviewers are expected to:

1. evaluate manuscripts objectively, independently, and fairly;
2. assess the originality, academic contribution, theoretical foundation, methodological rigor, quality of analysis, and relevance of the manuscript;
3. provide constructive and evidence-based recommendations for improving the manuscript;
4. maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and the review process;
5. disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest;
6. refrain from using unpublished information obtained through peer review for personal or professional advantage; and
7. comply with the journal's publication ethics and peer review policies.
