PENERAPAN METODE SOCP DALAM OPTIMALISASI BIAYA PRODUKSI PADA UMKM DAPOER RENDANG RIRY PAYAKUMBUH

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meminimumkan biaya produksi  menggunakan metode SOCP. SOCP merupakan program cembung sebagai kasus khusus karena penerapannya yang luas dan dengan kemampuan komputasionalnya. Dalam meminimalkan biaya produksi di UMKM ini diperoleh dari menentukan jumlah produksi yang optimal. Penelitian dilakukan pada UMKM Dapoer Rendang Riry Payakumbuh dengan melakukan wawancara langsung dengan pemilik UMKM untuk mengetahui permasalahan dan dilanjutkan dengan proses pengambilan data. Langkah-langkah proses penelitian ini meliputi: (1) pengumpulan data, (2) penetapan fungsi tujuan, (3) penetapan fungsi kendala, (4) menyelesaikan masalah. Metode ini menghasilkan biaya produksi yang lebih rendah  karena mengendalikan bahan baku dan jumlah produksinya dengan memperhatikan kapasitas penyimpanan. Tingkat perubahan biaya produksi dan total keuntungan UMKM Dapoer Rendang Riry di awal dan setelah dihitung dengan metode SOCP sebesar 0,76% dan tingkat perubahan keuntungan sebesar 1,004%. Sehingga hasil perhitungan dengan metode SOCP sebaiknya dapat digunakan oleh UMKM untuk meminimalkan biaya produksi.

This study was conducted with the aim of minimizing production costs using the SOCP method. SOCP is a convex program as a special case because of its wide application and computational capabilities. In minimizing production costs in this UMKM, it is obtained from determining the optimal amount of production. The research was conducted at UMKM Dapoer Rendang Riry Payakumbuh by conducting direct interviews with UMKM owners to find out the problems and continued with the data collection process. The steps of this research process include: (1) data collection, (2) setting the objective function, (3) setting the constraint function, (4) solving the problem. This method results in lower production costs because it controls raw materials and production quantities with respect to storage capacity. The rate of change in production costs and total profits of UMKM Dapoer Rendang Riry at the beginning and after being calculated by the SOCP method was 0.76% and the rate of change in profits was 1.004%. So that the calculation results with the SOCP method should be used by UMKM to minimize production costs.
