Focus and Scope

The Indonesian Journal of Sports Law (IJSL) is a double blind peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing original research articles, conceptual papers, doctrinal legal research, socio-legal research, comparative legal studies, case analyses, and critical reviews addressing legal issues in sport. The journal welcomes research employing diverse legal methodologies and perspectives, while maintaining a primary focus on sports law as a field of legal inquiry.

IJSL considers contributions across diverse areas of sports law, including, but not limited to:

- constitutional and administrative sports law;
- civil, commercial and contract law in sport;
- sports business and economic law;
- criminal law and sport;
- employment and labour law in sport;
- sports governance, integrity, and regulatory frameworks;
- human rights and sport;
- international sports law;
- sports arbitration, dispute resolution, and sports litigation;
- intellectual property, broadcasting, and media rights in sport;
