Persons with disabilities still face obstacles in obtaining decent employment despite the existence of regulations governing reasonable accommodation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of legal awareness of business actors and the obstacles they face in providing reasonable accommodation for workers with disabilities at Company A in Pasuruan. This research employs an empirical legal approach through interviews, observations, and documentation to analyze the legal awareness of business actors at Company A in Pasuruan regarding the provision of reasonable accommodation for workers with disabilities. The findings reveal that the legal awareness of business actors at Company A is relatively good in terms of knowledge but remains suboptimal in implementation. The company is aware of its legal obligations as stipulated in Law Number 8 of 2016, but its implementation is still limited to providing basic facilities and communication adjustments without clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) or internal policies. The obstacles faced include budget constraints, lack of socialization and technical assistance from the local government, and limited guidelines on best practices for creating an inclusive work environment. In addition, communication barriers between workers with disabilities and their colleagues indicate the need for sign language training and increased awareness among all employees. Therefore, synergy between companies, government, and society is necessary to strengthen regulations, provide incentives, and enhance understanding so that the principle of reasonable accommodation can be fully and sustainably implemented.
